Project Explicit

With the Explicit project you can compute explicitly given (i.e. parametrized) time-dependent surfaces. The corresponding Explicit class provides methods to manage the domain and to read the domain data and the coordinate functions from description files.

Since Explicit is a subproject of Surface it inherits the user-interface described in sections 8.2.1.1 and 8.2.3.2, the functionality of the Surface project is extended by replacing the methods for reading the description files and for computing the data.

Usually no programming is required for using this project, but if you want to compute surfaces which for example need a special domain or parameter handling or cannot be described with the formulas in the description file you can provide you own domain transformations or replace the "compute-explicit" method (see sections 8.2.5.2 and 8.2.5.3).
