"read-data" reads in the Explicit description file
path/name.ex where name is the name of the
explicit instance. *.ex is the default extension for all
Explicit input files, it is returned by "get-extension".
"read-data" uses the function g_domain_parm_get_data to
read the domain_parm data from the file, it creates rulers for the
minimum and maximum values of the parts and for the parameter line
distributions and adds them to the manager.

XDR * xdrp
Read the explicit instance from or write it to the XDR stream
xdrp. This method should not be called directly, refer
to 5.7 (especially 5.7.3) for details.
