Slider

  A slider (see figure 4.5) is used to adjust values in a given range, e.g. percentages.

There a two possibilities to set the slider to a new value: One is to use the input field on the right to type in the new value, the other is to click or drag the bar to a new position using the left mouse button, while the input field is being updated continously.

The right mouse button makes a configuration layer (see figure 4.6) pop up.

The Min-/Max-values are the minimal and maximal values the slider can be set to. Scale is the range the slider shows from its left to its right position. Offset is the value shown when the slider is set to its left position (that implies that the value shown when the slider is set to its right position is the sum of Offset and Scale).
