Handling the Geom2d Instances

The surface data of the geometries is stored in Geom2d instances therefore it is possible to select whether the surface, its boundary curves or parameter lines should be displayed (by setting or deleting the correct bits in the Geom2d flags, compare 6.3.4). This is what the second row of the Surface user-interface shown in figure 8.16 is used for:

tex2html_wrap45080
This checkbox selects if the Geom2d surfaces should be shown. Each geometry has its own instances with their own flags therefore the selection has to be done for each geometry separately.

tex2html_wrap45082
Selects whether the boundary should be drawn. Some rulers will be added if this checkbox is on, they allow to control the discretization and the radius of the tube drawn around the boundary lines.

tex2html_wrap45084 , tex2html_wrap45086
Same for the horizontal and vertical parameter lines. The lines might not be available, for example when they were not computed for the original object before it was reflected and merged or closed.
