This project tries to display a global view of the data hierachy tree. This is
useful for GRAPE novices which are not sure about the object buttons in the
manag menu, and it allows to quick navigation in a complicated data
hierarchy.
Figure 8.29: Main User Interface of Project Scene-Tree
-
- Toggle updating the data hierarchy tree
window every time the data hierarchy tree changes.
This switches on the window as well.
-
- Draw the data hierarchy tree once.
If the data hierarchy tree window
hasn't existed before, it is created.
The window will not be updated later on.
-
- Create the configuration layer for the
data hierarchy tree window.
You should close the layer before removing the project.
-
- Toggle drawing of pointers like
Scene->next_scene.
-
- Toggle drawing of pointers like
Scene->object.
-
- Toggle drawing of connection to
left pushed objects.
-
- Toggle drawing of lines between equal
objects at distinct positions.
-
- Toggle drawing Scenes in white color.
-
- Toggle drawing name at object position.
-
-
- On:
- tree is scanned from the root node
- Off:
- tree is scanned from current object.
-
- Max number of followed downlinks.
-
- Go back n steps from current object before
scanning tree.
-
- Max number of followed downlinks+nextlinks.
-
- Close this layer.
-
- Scan the data hierarchy tree from its root.
Print the result on stdout.
-
- Pick in the tree window.
- left mouse:
- goto object, as if walked in the local view
in the manag menu
- middle mouse:
- quit picking
- right mouse:
- open an information box about the picked object
and temporarily show its name in the tree window
- C-l:
- redraw data hierarchy tree window
- r:
- goto root and redraw window
-
- Remove the data hierarchy tree graphics window.
The project adds the display method "draw-scene-tree" as well, which
allows to zoom and rotate or to print the tree; the user interface operates
with send-methods found at class Root.
