In section 10.2.15 you will find a list of all elementary mathematical functions in GRAPE versions, all with that prefix g_. These functions were added to GRAPE because the names and types of the basic math functions are not standardized. Using the GRAPE functions helps making programs portable.
It should be mentioned that wherever possible these ``functions'' are macros which are replaced by the appropriate system math functions at compile time, so there is no overhead added to the program when they are used.
