Projects

This chapter contains a detailed description of the predefined GRAPE projects. For each project you will find a description of its functionality, how to use its interface and on which classes and methods it is based. Some of the project descriptions also contain examples which further explain their use. A general description of what projects are and how they are used can be found in sections 4.5 and 5.6.

Projects can depend on each other, they form a hierarchy which is shown in figure 8.1. In contrast to the class hierarchy there is nothing like a base class, a project may depend on several other projects. Since a project loads the projects it depends upon you should additionally to the documentation of the project itself read the documentation of the projects it depends upon.

Some projects just combine other projects to a larger package or provide an interface to methods from the GRAPE library. In these cases you will find references to the appropriate parts of the documentation.
